Reserves 0 - 5 Leicester City

Wednesday 22nd April

Reserves 0 - 2 Sunderland
This was a much closer contest than the 9-1 defeat County suffered at the hands of Sunderland last month and shows how much this young side have progressed, however a goal in each half for Sunderland now sees them 2pts clear at the top of the table with 4 games in hand over nearest rivals Birmingham.

Another great performance from the girls’ which deserved so much more. The passing continues to improve and after a quiet (literally) first few minutes the girls started to talk and play as a team. After going down to an early goal the girls fought back and dominated the first half.

Another impressive performance saw County with two wins out of three matches in the League Cup, but it wasn't quite enough unfortunately and they finished 1 point behind group winners Man City. Scorers were Katie Ward (2) and Beth Marsh with her 1st of the season, the opposition gave the player of the match award to Katie Ward, and the parents awarded keeper Zara Wrigley as their player of the match.
